Cumulare started with a simple idea: the best things in life are found right around the corner. We're a small team from North Carolina who got tired of watching amazing local stores go unnoticed while big online retailers got all the attention.

Why we built this
We kept having the same experience: we'd stumble across an incredible local shop — handmade candles, the best honey you've ever tasted, a toy store our kids went wild for — and think, "How did I not know this was here?"
It turns out, a lot of people feel that way. These stores don't have big marketing budgets or fancy websites. They rely on word of mouth and foot traffic. We thought: what if we could make it easy for anyone to discover what's in their neighborhood?
That's Cumulare. One place where you can find the local shops, artisans, and makers in your NC community — and actually walk in, meet the owner, and bring something special home.

We believe in face-to-face. Walking into a store, chatting with the owner, touching the product before you buy it. That's not old-fashioned — it's the way shopping should feel.
Honest and fair
No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch. We tell you exactly what we offer and what it costs. If we don't know the answer, we'll say so. That's just how we were raised.
